We offer half-day or full-day sailing charters departing from Ribeira’s Náutico de Ribeira’s pontoon 3. There is no guaranteed route… The wind and the sea will mark it and the skipper will decide where to take you.
Depending on the wind conditions it is more appropriate to anchor in a sheltered place or go sailing towards Sálvora or Areoso, or to the Illa de Arousa itself…

ON BOARD EXPERIENCE
In our sailboat “Rio Cabe” we love people to enjoy and we know that after anchoring and having a swim, people’s appetite is whetted. So we will not miss a snack on board with spectacular views. In the full day, we usually improvise a trip ashore for lunch and take advantage of the return to sail and return to port.

OUR SAILING BOAT "RÍO CABE"
Hull designed by its first owner, a native of Monforte de Lemos, through which runs the river Cabe, which gives its name to our sailboat.
With a singular and timeless design, she began her career as a regatta boat, achieving a winning reputation, and later became a pleasure boat. In spite of this, every skipper who tries it today is surprised by its seaworthy navigation.
This 32-foot sailboat, with a maximum capacity of 5 people plus skipper, is once again sporting its original name. Its current owner has tried to recover all its splendor by extending the life of the boat through a process of external aesthetic and technical restoration of this peculiar sailboat.
MASCATO
The Mascato is a sailing boat that has been used by many skippers to explore the estuary and learn to sail. Perfectly equipped for sailing, its smoothness and performance at sea make the journey a comfortable and easy experience.
Many people in the estuary identify with this boat, as most of them have learned to sail on it in recent years. Therefore, you will be sailing on a boat that has trained many great skippers of the Arousa estuary.
At 12 meters long, the Mascato has all the amenities you need to enjoy a day at sea without having to worry about returning to shore. If you feel like resting after a swim or after lunch, you can do so in one of its three cabins.
Designed for larger groups, this sailboat can carry up to 12 people on board (including the skipper). Without a doubt, it is the perfect option for a trip with family or friends.

With his unparalleled knowledge of the estuary and extensive experience in the art of sailing, many of the skippers who sail the estuary have passed through his hands to become future sailors. But, in addition to being a master at handling different types of boats, if there is one thing Fernando loves, it is surprising people who want to enjoy the experience of sailing.
In addition to showing you the hidden corners of the Arousa estuary, you will discover anecdotes and stories that few people in the area know. His years of experience in the art of sailing and his knowledge of the estuary like the back of his hand guarantee a comprehensive learning experience.
